This extension enables the automated sending of emails with optional coupon codes for the birthday of the customers of your online store. You can fully customize the promotion options.

With this extension you can automatically send individualized emails with optional promotion codes to your customers on their birthday. The app takes care of generating new codes, sending them by email and matching the date of birth. The best thing about it: You can choose the conditions and texts completely individually. You can also customize the pattern of your automatically generated coupons as needed at any time.

You can simply create a discount promotion in the Shopware administration area and specify the discount options. You can customize the text of the emails according to your wishes using the email templates. Our extension detects when your clientele tries to grab a voucher illegally: If customers change their date of birth in order to get more coupons ahead of time, the reissue of a voucher code will be prevented. A voucher code can only be claimed once every 350 days per person. This ensures that your customers only redeem one voucher per year.

In addition, you can view a list in the administration area, which shows you all the promotion codes that have been sent, along with the associated customer data.

Installation

• Common installation and activation of the app
• Create promotion for birthday promotion codes:
  - Activate promotion and set active period.
  - IMPORTANT: Select "Individual promotion codes". The promotion codes will then be created automatically by the app according to a pattern you choose.
  - Select sales channel
  - Assign valid discount
• Go to the extension configuration:
  - Activate app
  - Select your promotion
  - Select code pattern (%d for numbers, %s for letters)
  - Select email header and footer
• Activate "Show birthday" at Settings > Login / Registration (optional)
• Make sure your Scheduled Tasks are running

Done. The app is now ready to use and will now create as well as send promotion codes completely automatically.
