By using this extension, you have the possibility to add a description to your product images and manufacturer images. Your individual descriptions will then be displayed in the store.

Our app Give Product Images a Description allows you to add descriptions to the images for each of your products. You also have the possibility to add a description to the images globally in the media area. In case there is no description assigned to an image, it will be displayed from the media. In the app settings you can choose the areas in which you want the descriptions to be displayed. On top of that, you have the option to allow the stored descriptions to be displayed for your manufacturer.

Tip: If you have purchased an app or theme and your shop is connected to your account, the extension will automatically appear in your shop in the app/theme list. All you have to do is install them. This way you skip the step below to upload the extension.

1. Download the app from the store
2. Log into your Shopware 6 administration section and navigate to Settings > System > Apps
3. Click on the "Upload App" button and select the downloaded extension
4. Use the menu next to the extension to install it and the switch to activate it 
5. The app is now active and you can use all the features!
